I truly believe that every person has the opportunity to wake up one morning and decide that today is the day to make a change. Therapy can be a space to reassess, reconnect with your values, and begin building a different path forward. I see therapy as a collaborative journey. You are the expert on your own experiences, and my role is to walk alongside you as you discover your strengths, build resilience, and explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe meaningful change comes from a combination of compassion, honesty, accountability, and a willingness to do the work.
I bring more than 15 years of experience in social work, including the last six years focused on clinical practice. I work with individuals navigating challenges such as problematic sexual behaviors, substance use, anger, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach combines evidence-based practices with real-world understanding (and a little humor). I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth space where clients can be honest about their experiences, take responsibility for their choices, develop healthier coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help clients build greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and move toward a healthier, more connected future.

Sarah is passionate about walking alongside people through the messy, complicated, and sometimes painful journey of life. She believes everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to explore life’s challenges, regardless of their past decisions or mistakes. She recognizes the capacity within each person to create meaningful change, rewrite their story, and build a life filled with purpose, connection, and hope for the future.
Sarah has had the privilege of working with court-involved individuals and those experiencing problematic sexual behaviors who are seeking to make meaningful, lasting changes. She also understands the profound impact these struggles can have on spouses, parents, partners, friends, and other loved ones, and has worked with family members as they navigate difficult circumstances, and find a path forward.
Sarah works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, gender identity-related concerns, problematic sexual behavior,(both court-involved and self-referred individuals). She also works with family-members who need support navigating the realities of a loved one struggling with problematic sexual behavior, or with sexually based convictions.
Sarah strives to create a therapeutic environment where every client feels safe, seen, and understood. Using current research and evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, she helps individuals work toward meaningful behavioral change, reduce the risk of reoffending, and build healthier, more connected lives. She also supports family members as they navigate the emotional and relational impact of a loved one’s conviction or problematic sexual behavior, helping individuals and families identify their needs, strengthen connections, and discover a way forward that honors their unique circumstances.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah and her Master of Social Work from Utah State University.
Outside of her work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her favorite humans and her dogs. She loves hiking, reading, writing, and playing board games.
